Isabel (Issie) O’Donovans passion for chocolate is irrepressible. As this began to be appreciated by family & friends, it was clear that Issie’s Handmade Chocolate should be brought to a wider audience. To the delight of local shoppers in Castletownbere & the West Cork region, chocolate bars began to appear from Issie’s home kitchen in March 2010. Reaction from those who have tasted it has been overwhelming with the result that demand has grown very quickly. As we have grown our core principals are the very same. We believe in making the finest, most delicious, artisan chocolate that you will ever taste, using premium ingredients sourced from Irish producers whenever possible. Every piece of chocolate we create is hand-finished and every chocolate truly is unique and individual.
